Born from a passion to create something truly distinct and unique, Jean Philippe Joly began his journey in the optical world in his native Paris in 1999.

Each style is personally designed and developed by Jean Philippe Joly himself in his workshop. Living in the timelessly chic city of Paris, he draws inspiration from creation, invention, attention to detail, the harmony of colors and volumes, as well as art and elegance.

Only the finest acetates from the historic Mazzucchelli house are selected. Combined with traditional manufacturing methods and the highest standards of craftsmanship, the result is a refined product of uncompromising quality. After extensive research to find the highest level of craftsmanship, production was entrusted to expert manufacturers in Italy who continue the traditional art of handmade eyewear.
